The National Archives Museum: Historical documentation

The National Archives, located just off the National Mall in Washington, D.C., house many of the nation’s historic documents. 

Some of the documents go back to the founding of the United States in the 18th century and are fragile and need to be protected from the elements.

Katie Munn, an Education Specialist at the Archives, says she enjoys showing the documents to visitors.  She adds “I get to work with people to help them understand these documents…”
