The National Museum of the American Indian is currently hosting “Nation to Nation”, an exhibit that tells the story of the relationship between the United States and American Indian nations; the museum calls it the most ambitious exhibit they’ve ever undertaken.

“Nation to Nation” showcases a history of treaties between Indian nations and the United States, detailing the legacy of U.S.-American Indian diplomacy, featuring an 8,000 sq. ft. exhibition with four museum designed interactive stations, more than 125 objects, and three museum produced original videos.

Mandy Von Heuvelen, a Cultural Interpreter at the museum, and a member of the Cheyenne Sioux Tribe, says “I am really inspired by all the work the museum is doing to educate people about Native cultures.
