A man gave us a tour of Union Station. He took us behind the statue, and explained the backstory on how and why the building looks the way it does. His role was a business manager, and his main focus is on new businesses and vendors that want to come inside Union Station. He also took us into the office part of the building and took us to the presidential suite, which they don’t use anymore. We got to see the old movie theater that is at the bottom of Union Station, which is now torn down. My favorite part of the trip was going behind the statue of soldiers, which is located near the clock. Behind the statues were old tables that they used to use before upgrading to newer things.
